Spy -thanks.  I am leaving to go on a 5 day North Carolina/Tennessee//Georgia/South Carolina mountain ride tomorrow. Pre-ride party tonight for the almost 50 guys who are going. 

My bike rants are better when I get back from Daytona or some other "event" - about time I started a rant thread, but it will have to wait.  I'm too stoked now since I ride tomorrow!

Bro, It's a mental health issue.  I don't have any of that to speak of, but riding in the mountains fools me into thinking I do at times.  Will hit around 4k for these 4 weeks if I count the old reliable RK also.

I spoke with the GM at the Granite Mtn Dealer in Conyers, GA the other day.  He told me that the duece, wide glide and road king custum are gone!  I asked him about the cvo and he told me that the ultra is back for sure, go figure.  I asked about the road glide, he said that there is alot of talk about it coming back into the cvo lineup.  But we already knew that!  He also said that the new models wont be relaesed that the press untill the delear show in July.  That Sucks!

Reliable sources have told me they see one decked out in plaid tie dyed paint (to hide what it really is) patrolling the streets of Kansas City.  So it must be going to come off the V-Rod production line.  That means it'll be a water cooled high out big fat back tire(s) model.  Cool....

Any possibility the rear tire will exceed a 300?

don't think they will make a cvo road glide, they didn't sell very  good , but  i agree the road glide was one of the best cvo's they ever made, sold my 01 for an 04 cvo , wished i'd kept the 01

Yes, but only on the right side.

 Your dealer's GM is blowing a lot of smoke........ask him to show you the 2008 color charts which he now has access to and from there you can deduct which model's are being discontinued since the colors available are listed by model.

 The real trick is finding out what the new softtail and new touring models will be since only 2 current units are gone (flsts & flhrs)......
