No matter what trailer you have "it will be the best trailer ever made" Don't think so just ask anyone who has a trailer and that is what they will tell you about the MODEL TRAILER they pull :)

That does seem to be an almost universal truism Wayne.  Rarely hear someone complain about their trailer after they've put one to use.  As many years and miles as I've ridden a bike I've never pulled a trailer with one.  So I'm always the interested party from the outside looking in.  The extra space must be addictive or something.

With that large single unicycle looking wheel hanging out the bike I tend to go back and forth between thinking the N-Line are cool-looking or funny-looking.  They apparently pull remarkably well though and have tons of space inside.  So it works well no matter what else is going on.

I think they look great, and would love to have one........one day. :2vrolijk_21:  $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Henry, that painted to match red one behind Mike's SEEG is absolutely stunning.  Just looks amazing.  Have seen a couple of all white plain fiberglass examples, however, and the big ol' black wheel really visually sticks out on those.  So, at least to my eyes, the color seems to make a big difference in the appearance of these things.

The inline trailer has a lot of space but a small opening to put it in so if you have something other than T-shirts and underwear it won't fit in the door :) That's the only down side to it other than the look for me.

With my trailer* the whole lid lifts up so you can stuff a body in it if the need was ever to arise.

We might be talking about different trailers Wayne.  Though I've never pulled one I've seen the N-line units opened up.  Their entire top articulates.  The "hole" is the full size of the trialer's body.  Relative to the trailer's size the opening couldn't get any larger.

A picture is worth a thousand words, yes that is a different one than the model I saw. Now let me pick at the tire What size is it and Ply? the ones the bustech uses is 16 inch (same as the bike size for longer wear) and it's also Six-Ply meaning that you won't need  a to carry a spare , that makes the tires last about 50 thousand miles at 35 PSI. also they have sealed wheel bearing (never need to be repacked) as with other ball hitch trailers. Just some other things to think about if your looking to compare. :) . We will be pulling ours to Hot Springs for show and tell  :coolblue:

Didn't have a clue what they use for tires, bearings, et.al.  Took a look at their website and the spec's weren't fully forthcoming.  Did say the tire was 16"x3" but no other details on type or anything regarding axle or bearing size.  The sealed bearings are so common anymore it's likely.  But without mftr confirmation that's of course merely speculation.

I always just go back and forth on those one wheeled units.  Some days I like 'em.  Some days they're funny looking.  Depends a lot on the paint work.  FWIW here are the remainder of the specs just liberated from the mftr's website:

LED taillights
Side marker lights
Sealed bearings throughout
All stainless and chrome hardware
Adjustable rear shock
Powder coated frame
Locking lid with safety catch

Isn't tongue weight on the single wheeled trailers an issue?  I would think a loaded trailer with a single wheel to the rear would have a tongue weight of 150 lbs or more.  Add a BSR, loaded bags and tour pak plus a fat ass operator and that greatly exceeds the weight recommendations.  I don't have a trailer but I like the Legend styling in the shape of an HD saddle bag.  The optional swivel hitch must make it pull like the single wheel model.  JMHO.

Here is a link...  http://www.american-legend.com/

I found another that models their trailers after coffins.  That's a show stopper there!

I'm in trouble....

In Newport this weekend, we were walking down  the street after the Chowdah fest and a wing rolled by towing a trailer....the trailer had a sunroof and a side window with was screen...and the reason for my fear....

A cat was curled up sleeping inside...

I currently pull an Escapade.  I bought it new in '01 for ~$3200 painted to match the '01, with most of the goodies.  The only thing I'm lacking is the underlid garment bag.  We custom making our own, so we didn't want theirs.  It tracks great, you can buy wheels and tires at wallyworld, if needed.  I've got about 10k on it and it doesn't look like I need to do any tire shopping anytime soon.  If you do a search for motorcycle trailer, you should find one site that lists essentially all the manufacturers out there with links to each.  All will work well.
