Prices on 2008 CVO bikes??
« on: July 11, 2007, 02:37:36 PM »

I can't find on the HD website any prices on the CVO bikes.  Am I missing it, Does anyone have the MSRP for each of the CVO bikes for 2008?

On their website- under "specifications" there is a place to click on "full specs." That is where prices are.

Just spoke with the dealer in Sherman, Texas.

He says that most dealers will be getting $3-4000 over MSRP.  He is pricing his at $1500 over so that he can stay competitive.

I think that makes the Anniversary bike $35,500 + 1,500 = $37,000 + TTL before any extras.

Maybe thats because I am a previous customer?

BTW, his favorite choices were:

1. White
2. Anniversary
3. Canyon Copper

I think I'll start a new thread on this subject under 'Screamin Eagle Ultras'.

Thanks from what I can see prices are:
Dyna 25K
Springer 25K
Road King 29.3K
Ultra 35K

Then you add an additional 500 to each bike if you get the anniversary colors and badges.

Dang I was hoping that springer would be a little more like the price I recall from last year.  Weren't they around 23K last year??

Nope, the Springer had a list of 24,995 for the 2007...here is something interesting though the Springer had a higher list but according to KBB the Deuce has a higher resale value now...go figure

I still love the Springer and the 21" up front looks better IMHO

I have to say that I'm not satisfied with the new cvos.  The paint is not there for the rk and the ultra.  The ultra is very dissapointing.  The rk is ok.  The Dyna by far has the most attractive paint job this year.  Thats my two cents.  There has been an extravagant paint job since the 06 fat boys.

Agree the paint on the dyna's looks much better, especially that blue one.  But that black springer is a real good looking bike.

I would love to know why HD decided to eliminate the leather trunk on the Ultra and replace it with a painted tourpak. Every time I see an ultra on the road with a leather trunk I know it is most likely a CVO. TOO BAD !!

It is also ridiculous that the keyfob to remotely lock and unlock the bags (and trunk) is seperate from the security keyfob  So now your pockets can be full of ridiculous keyfobs for you bike. BAD DESIGN IMO !!

The colors aren't doing much for me and the Anniversary color really doesn't appear to be too hot.  I guess we need to see them in person so I'll hold judgement until then, but for now the site pics aren't that inspiring to me.
