Saw an '08 Ultra today - not CVO - seat shape definatley changed due to new tank, also raised up the seat & there is an electronics module under seat over the battery so it may be the combination of the two.  An interesting side note is the seat (as well as the seat on the '08 street glide) has what appears to be an additional hole like that for the backrest at the low part of the seat - Salesperson & I speculated what the purpose could be and the only thing we could come up with was to allow the rain to drain off of the seat??   Not really sure what that is about neither was the service manager when we asked him.
The same reliable person who told me there would be an '08 Servicar tells me...the purpose is for a seat belt. The state of Virginia will require all pasengers to wear seatbelts while operating/riding on two or more wheels. Therefore, the MOCO has satisfied this requirement by implementing attachments on all '08 SEUC's.

My "reliable" source says it's for a catheter.  Now that the fuel tank is bigger, some folks will need to relieve themselves before they need to stop for fuel.

After buying one, your wallet will be a lot thinner.  It should help allow for the higher seat height.

Absolutely !!!    :-\

Hey Jerry....I'd need it for the 6 gal tank....I can rarely make it the 150-175 miles the 5 gal gives me before I've got to wizz.  The 6 gal tank is not a big deal for me.

A true statement for me too.
An "all nighter" for me is if I can go all night without going to the bathroom.   ::)

The way they build bikes, you expect them to spew correct data too?  ;-\.
