Just checked my mailbox and found out.
New Easyrider (September) came today.
Big spread... with pics.
I don't post BS Don.
If I post it, it's "probably" based in fact. [smiley=laugh.gif]

I guess you'd have to see 'em side-by-side, but it doesn't look much different than the '05 in those photos.

It's interesting to see the use of a black and chrome engine in a CVO, though. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Different strokes for different folks of course, but at least from what can be seen in that bit of adverstising I'm not going to be a big fan.  Of course since I've never been a big fan of of the V-Rods generally guess that's not a big surprise.  To those that love them they're no doubt wonderful machines.  For me, however, notsomuch  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Got to wonder about a little of it just from the perspective of what it's supposed to be.  With a wider back tire is it no longer supposed to be a sport bike for the cutters and twisties?  Is the back tire just a concession to style in lieu of handling (form not following function)?  Or maybe folks are just more concerned about going straight ?  After all, the wider the tire the straighter it's gonna want to go.

Granted, it's not a huge back tire (by contemporary standards) but it's still a lot larger than what I'd want to wear if my intent was to throw a bike around the way I'd want to throw a bike around if I wanted a V-Rod.  Of course who'd believe that Harley would sacrifice performance, control or rideability to enhance style and look to sell bikes  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Can you scan and post the info?

Thought I would post the article in Easyriders on the 2006 CVO VROD. All information is property of Easyriders. If I am not supposed to post pics from this magazine, please let me know.
