  • "Teach a man to swim, but not while he's drowning"

    • CVO1: 2004 Orange Pearl and Jet Black FLHTCSE & 2002 Candy/Brandywine FLHRSEI
    • CVO2: 2006 Autumn Haze FLHTCUSE Sold - 11-11-12 Bought another 2006 SEUC
    • CVO3: 2003 Gold FLHRSEI2 Sold CVO4: 2002 Purple FLHRSEI Crashed

Is it just me or is there not as much buzz going this year for the new 2008 CVO's?   :nixweiss:

I know two years ago when the 2006 SEUC became available there was so many more new members joining our site and all kinds of new treads going up and then when the 2007 SEUC were announced it even seemed more hyped.

Maybe the CVO scoots aren't drawing in the new riders like the previous years have or maybe its???   :nixweiss:

I think the buzz this year is on the Rocker, not the CVOs.

Well when they come out with chity colors, except maybe the springers, no real accessories, except ABS, and same 'ol models, can you say noooooooooo SEEG, what's to expect.
Maybe the rocker should have been a CVO.   :nixweiss:

No, it's not just you - The make believe anniversary (105) is the same color scheme as 1995 and anyone can order a Cvo color on a non cvo bike make it just what it is SAME $hit different day.

I'm quite sure whom ever buys an 08 will enjoy it to the fullest and like it just as much as we like ours.

Lack of buzz is due to no new CVO models.   No offense to the RK or UC riders among us.  Still waiting for the SE Roadglide

IROAR is correct. A SE Roadglide or  SE Streetglide would have done the trick along with more options or something like better paint. I honestly don't see the point in buying a CVO just for the motor if the paint looks a old man/lady is going to ride it. I do understand most that can afford to put out the money are older, but not all of us are over 35. Not bagging on the mature folk here, just saying that they aren't giving this 33 year old any reason to upgrade. Cheers!

Dude,
I'm 53 and the best paint job ever to come out of Milwaukee was the 05 SE V-Rod I owned. If that's an old man's paint scheme I'll eat chit. I'm gonna clue you in on something young blood, old folks that are dull and boring - - - - they were dull and boring as kids. It ain't age that's the problem it's attitude. I'll have a "tude a mile wide till they I do my own personal imitation of  " The Night on the Barge of Lake Lemarge and The Cremation of Sam Magee" I may have more metal in my body than there is in my 07 RG, but I'm still kickin ass and takin names.

Ok, admittedly I'm not that smart or observant - I normally get by on my good looks - but that said - the only people that have been exposed to the 08's are the Dealers, those of us on the web and the journalists. Let's wait till the magazines hit the stands, bikes hits the floor and the normal guys start seeing 2008 CVO's sitting on turntables in Sturgis before we sell the HOG stock to buy Ford. BTW - HOG will hit $75 by the end of the year, up from $61 today - you heard it here!
