Recently purchased 2000 black Turbo.
Sorry about double posting, forgot about this thread.

So when you going to get some red pinstriping done to it?  :drink:

Gotta pay for 2 new wheels/tires first.  Read the manual when I got home.  Emailed the previous owner if he ever had the wheels off-No.  Removed the LH wheel (nut was tight) and when removing the wheel, the outer bearing fell off on the ground.  Found the aluminum wheel wallowed out where the bearing fits in.  Thought the dust under the cap was dirt when I took it off but later found it was aluminum powder.  Since they hadn't shipped the hitch yet, I ordered 2 new wheels with tires.  Now I have one good spare tire/wheel and another good tire.
The spacer between the bearings is what you see in the hub and the old bearing is above the hub and spins freely.

Here's my '02 Road King with trailer. At some point, the black trailer will go Duracell to match the '08 CUSE3. But, for the time being, for the trips of a week or more the CUSE stays in the garage.

That's too bad.  Sorry to see such a problem with such a nice new acquisiton.  Now I'm wandering out to casually check on mine.

A 15/16" wrench and small allen is all you need.  Don't even need a jack.    :)

I saw your post with pictures of your Bushtec on CUSE3 site. If I sell the trailer I have, I'll go with the Bushtec myself.  No complaints with what I have other than my wife likes to pack everything except the kitchen sink. The trailer has more room than we need and therefore gets packed with more than we need. We took a 15 day trip last summer to Yellowstone, Red Lodge, Bear Tooth, Badlands and back through Sturgis. 5000 miles round trip. Great trip!! I smile everytime of think of it. That's what we ride for isn't it?  I noticed your plates.  I think I've seen you on some back roads in Southern Ohio.  Maybe the Triple Nickel? I'll post a picture from last summers' trip.

OK, don't get all excited that theres a Gold Wing in the pic.  I just don't have any pics with the trailer behind the SE Ultra.  Took the Gold Wing on this 4400 mile 13 day trip because it tows the trailer, me, and the wife like nobody's business.  Unfortunately I know the trailer is behind the SE immediately.  It'll do the job, but you know you have a load.  It just doesn't feel as right for the job.  The trailer is by Motorvation Engineering.  The Grand National 14 cubic foot model.  Weighs 115 lbs empty and without the cooler.

The 97 Bustec Turbo +2 that I just bought a couple of weeks ago.  I'll get it painted to match this winter.

Just got notified my American Legend trailer is ready for pickup.  I will be picking it up next Saturday and I can't hardly wait to see it (560 mile round trip).  I attached a picture American Legend sent me of it.  I will post additional pictures of it and my bike as soon as I get it picked up.

I like the look of the saddle bag profile to match the Harley.  I wonder why they aren't as popular as the bushtec?
