Nice seat design and it looks comfy. But what the hell does that ostrich stripe have to do with our bikes? There ain't no damn ostrich on these bikes! Where's the stitched flame pattern? I think they missed the boat completely on the styling and materials! :nixweiss: Hoist! 8)

You can get any material you want, and they offer a flamed stitch pattern with the heat option.  Heat in a Corbin requires a stitch pattern of some sort.

The Ostrich is just an extra touch...

If you order today, you might get it before the HS ride.  Binx and your a$$ would thank you...

I haven't even tried the new Sundowner yet! My $$$ went into everything else on the bike. That's it for now! :nixweiss: I'll ride it like this and see reassess things down the road. A Corbin can be next years project! Definitely looks comfy!

Hey Rich, you got a pic of the Flame Stitch Pattern seat? Hmmm!

Howie, The flame stitching pattern is on pics of other seats Corbin offers. They do not have a pic of the flame stitch for the SERK yet.  I also had Corbin shave a little off the front part of the seat under the leg area to help shift my weight from sitting straight up to a very, very slight lean forward.  I did this because my back issues to get a better riding position for me.  Rich

What great news!  I am ordering the large gator insert if possible, I don't care if I get a plain one!  Woo Woo!
Now I need to find a rear fender apron to hide the unfinished marble inserts..

I like the ugly 1 piece seat! The SERK isn't setup, stock, for a 2 piece. And the paint's not finished for a solo. First thing I did when I got each of the 5 RK's I've had was remove that 2-piece seat! Ugly's in the eye of the beholder, I guess! ::)

I ordered the solo plus pillion from the Corbin booth at Sturgis last week.  Said 2 weeks for delivery and that was a week ago.  We will see.  10% discount and free shipping so not too bad.  Wanted to actually see the solo on my bike before taking the plunge.  Picked up a nice leather cover for the unfinished part of the fender on this site a couple weeks ago.

Might try to get a good pinstriper to finish off that area for me so that is looks done while using the solo but doesn't show when the original  seat is installed.

That is so funny.  I stopped by the Corbin booth last week also, I could not get anyone to help me, and when I finally got someone to actually speak to me, they told me that they didn't have any seats that fit my bike and they wouldn't have one for at least another month.  I was standing there credit card in hand, begging them to take my money and I was dismissed like an annoying child.  It really pissed me off.  I rode directly over to Mustang and bought 2 seats from them.  I was treated wonderfully by their entire staff, and they made a big fuss over the wife's bike and took several pictures of her bike with the new seat.  It really made her feel special.  It seems like more and more companies are relaying on their product and their name to sell themselves, customer service has become a lost art.   :soapbox:

That is really funny.....  I went to Mustang first, stood around for twenty minutes with no help and then they literally closed the booth while I was standing there waiting.  I felt the same way you did at Corbin.  I went by the Corbin booth twice, once on foot and once with my bike.  They were very helpful both times.  The guy called the factory and was told 2 weeks.  He told me to give them three.

I like the way the Corbin seat attaches better than the Mustang I looked at while I was standing there waiting for help.

One thing is that they both looked like they were selling a LOT of seats.
