There are no OMG handles on the side of the seat, so there is the old Honda strap across the seat for the passenger to hang on to.  I was going to take it off, but the wife wanted to leave it.

I like the granite engine color...would go great with my bike.  The seat is not as nice looking as prior models, but if it's better in comfort, that would be a huge improvement :2vrolijk_21:

I think the granite finish will be easier to keep looking good.

The only comfort issue I have with the seat is the driver backrest.  Not liking it yet.  As soon as pull-back handle bars are available, I am switching -- maybe then I can get the driver backrest adjusted to be comfortable.

They dropped the OMG handles in 05, but you can add them, plus put some nice chrome covers on them.  My better half really missed them and the strap was totally useless to her, so I put on a set of the grab rails and covers.   Don't know if they will work on the new 08's though.  :-\

The granite engine color looks sharp and those bolts are crying to be chromed  ;)

So does the starter. I know it is not cheap but the chrome starter is a "must get" for me. Another "have to have" is the chrome inner primary but for both of them you just have to wait for a good reason not to have to eat the labor $$$$.

Lil,

I've got an '07 SERK.  I really didn't care much for the rider back rest at first.  It had me pushed too far forward.  I removed the seat and moved the mounting bracket for the back rest to a more reward position.  This really helped and now I'm pleased with the back rest.  I assume that the adjustment is similar on your CUSE.

Mark...it's my understanding that you no longer have to pull the primary to change the starter, so it's not a big labor expense.  The primary is a different issue though...

Phaze,

Have not looked to see if I can move the mounting bracket.  You can bet that I will be checking soon.

I had the same problem w/the backrest on my SEEG. Once I found out it could be moved back and I did that I now can use it. It will definitely be appreciated on long rides. :2vrolijk_21:
