Just kidding, Buddy.  Point is, I really don't care much for that stuff.  Numbers Schmumbers.  It's like a pecker measuring contest.  I'm I can hold my own.........no pun intended.    Someone lists huge numbers, and suddenly that person has an awesome build in everyone's eye.....based on numbers.  Then someone posts mediocre numbers, and he's suddenly flooded with suggestions to get those numbers higher.  We've discussed all this before.  Well, some of you discussed.  I just read.  Anyway, we know there are tricks to inflate numbers and make a build appear better than it really is.  I will say this:  My numbers, if I disclose them, will be real!  No fluff.  No forced air.  Bike will be measured as she rides down the highway.  And the TRUTH.......shall set you free!

OK, too late; I see that I'm a little way behind the curve here. No big deal just curious, was the gearshaft runout on REGGAB's machine measured without the camplate in place?

No idea, and I'm not smart enough to know why that'd be necessary.  I do know that it was checked again after the new cam plate was installed, and there was no change.  I get the whole "wobble" factor, but I don't get the importantance of measuring the wobble without a structural component in place.  Enlighten me, please.  Thx.
