Henry, great that she is everything and more than you expected.  Anxious to see how the final numbers turn out and how she is after a few 000.  Glad someone of Dennis' capabilities is so close.  I may have to pay him a visit also!

Howdy!  Man..........I struggled to get through what I had to do this afternoon at work, but I did, and then I hopped on Thumper and took the LOOOOOOOOOONG way home.  I'm here now, and I've got a few pictures of Thumper's homecoming.  Folks, the Girl is BAD!!!!!!  She's so fine.....make ya wanna slap yo' momma!   :P  Oh chit!!!  I gotta go get the ton truck.  Oh well........Renea and I will take Thumper over to my work to get the oil burner.

Here's Thumper being offloaded.  That's Don in front of Thump.  He's the owner of Cripple Creek Motor Company.  That's Dennis on Thump's right.  He's 'bout the best engine builder I've ever worked with.

My heart melted when Dennis reached down, pressed the CRs and fired Thumper's engine.  WOW!!!  She has an awesome voice.

Got caught in the rain on the way home, so Thumper is a dirty Girl.  I'll take care of that later tonight.  OK, so she's not a 103 anymore.  I know that.......and so do you, but those who don't know Thumper don't know she ain't a 103.   8) ;)

Yeah...........I'm not diggin' that cam chest vent line either.  Gonna have to figure out another way to do that.  Happily accepting input!!!!!!!

There's that cam chest vent line again.  UGH.  Really the only thing I DON'T like about the whole build, but a necessary component.  Gonna leave it this way until we get back from MV.  Hopefully those in attendance can give me some ideas about dressing up this sore thumb.  I'm already thinking Chromite braided hose, turning the 90 degree elbow down and reroute to a small K&N breather filter.  Almost looks like the oil vent line on my diesel.  I had to put a hose on that thing, run it into a plastic bottle and tie that off to the frame to keep it from dripping blowby oil on my driveway.

But that cam plate and cover are way KEWL!  I'm really diggin' that stuff!!!!  As if you couldn't tell.  Thump sings now.  Absolutely incredible!  Dennis, you are THE MAN!!!  The REAL DEAL!!  Thanks for building the perfect engine for me.  Way more than I expected.  Couldn't be happier!!!!!  You ROCK, Bro!

I'll see you guys in Maggie Valley, NC Thursday afternoon.

Henry,
Stop smiling so much I can see it all the way up here. ;D I'm not at all surprised that you're feeling this way about the build it's amazing the potential that these motors have once you unleash the beast. Enjoy the new ride. :2vrolijk_21:

Henry...sorry I missed your VM, but had stepped out of the office a few minutes.  Really, really, really glad to hear that the bike is everything you expected and so much more.  It's also good to hear of a build that has gone well for a member here, especially since everyone seems to be having so many problems of late.  Good to hear a positive outcome.  Congratulations Thumper, Henry, and Dennis....will be anxiously awaiting the final tune after Henry returns from MV and get the final impressions when it's 100% dialed in.

Henry...can you shift fast enough to get it out of first and second before it hits the rev limiter?
 :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks, Terry.  Yep, I'm looking forward to getting her dialed in too.  I've been really good, so far, about obeying Doctor's orders to keep her under 4000 RPM until I get back from MV.  I've gotten it set in my mind that following those orders will greatly increase my chances of seeing 100,000 miles out of this build.  Remember, the whole idea behind this build was reliability and longevity.  Thumper is a whole lot more more fun now tho'.  It's tough to be good.......but I'm gonna do it.  I have too much invested in her to screw it all up now.

All I can say is that Henry's voice mail he left me sounded like he was having trouble breathing from the adreneline rush he's been experiencing for the last couple of hours.  The man's fit to be tied, but grinning so wide his jaws are hurting... :vrolijk_4: :vrolijk_4:
Yeah.......like a kid on Christmas morning.  I know I was a heap of worthless goo this afternoon.  It is like the first time I got laid.  WOW!  You never forget that.  I'm still enjoying the rush..........well, yeah, the Rush mufflers too!!!   ;D

Yeah Jerry, I'm thinking Dennis is going to be seeing more business from this group.  The man is a great builder.  This build is all about reliability and longevity.  I think we're gonna achieve that endstate.
