OK, well, I guess I need to govern my throttle hand and ride this thing gently at cruise and see what she'll do for fuel economy.....but she's so much fun.  It'll be tough.  Yesterday I was thinking mpg would be better than it was in the mountains, since yesterday was more steady state than on/off.  Hmmmmmmm.  Wonder if I add a 6 speed???   ;D

Try a tank running under 3K nearly the whole time to get an idea.  Now that you have the power, you can probably carry the 6 speed.  It's something in the back of my mind for down the road a ways.  Keep your eye on e-bay for the SE 6 speed gear set.  I think it was Don who picked up one at a pretty good price off there a while back.

I keep my revs up in the mountains so much, it's about the same as running 85mph on the interstate.  My optimum fuel ecomomy is under 3K...60-65mph.

Good luck. Once you've felt that TQ you'll be hard pressed not to call on it when the opportunity arises. Don't let it trouble you though you'll just begin to accept it much like we've accepted our compulsive washing/detail addiction. :2vrolijk_21:
