Here's my 4 cents worth
You're buying a custom painted motorcycle - if you get the orange one  - you get a frame to match. All bikes have black frames - but only certain ones have frames painted to match the custom paint jobs on the tank and fenders. Get your moneys worth and go with a color.
I've seen the black up at South East Harley in Cleveland and it looked great - but not custom.
You wouldn't pay Dave Periwitz a boat load of $$ to paint a black bike - you'd want flames - don't let Willie G off any easier !!
Sorry - I have to go wax my Canyon Copper Springer now !!!
Ignore Hoist - he's seen to many Ansel Adams photos ( it's not always Black and White )

Beerman, you have brought up an excellent point and I have already considered the color of the frame as an issue. I already have a great customized Road King, but the frame is black and it would look "completely finished" if I took it apart and painted the frame to match the bike. Will I ever do this? I doubt it. You'll notice that I didn't include the anniversary color in the poll, for me it is too much of a "gentleman's color". It looks nice but it is not my taste...however, the frame is painted to match the bike and that makes it look more customized.

That's one of the reasons I likie my CACO Serk so much - sure makes it look different from the crowd.

Now that you mention it, I have a couple of friends I ride with that both have 07 SERK, one blue and one black. The blue one jumps out at you and always draws the crowd everywhere. The black one seems to just blend in with the other many black bikes.

IMO, Having a Black bike with basically a matching frame is not as unusual as a HD with a non black frame.  It immediately stands out and says "I'm special".

If your keeping it, Go orange, because the resalability isn't an issue.

If your going to ride it, Go orange, 'cuz it stands out better and you'll able to find it in the parking lot easier.

If you're going to re-sell soon, Go Orange, just 'cuz you love a challenge!

The orange is nice kinda reminds me of a new flavor of jolly rancher although I do really like the small ghost flames. The black simply looks bad a$$. Your decision but as they say once you go black you never go back... :jalapeno:

The orange will set it apart as a CVO bike from every other plain jane Springer that is black.
