Harley has found a way to increase their market.  Owners of the 110 engines will need a second bike to ride while their bikes are in the shop for repairs.  I'm a little happier every day that I did decide to keep my '06.  I'll have something to ride while my '07 is in for repairs.

I've got a little over 3000 miles and a slight leak is showing up at the rear head gasket.  I've already had my speedo/tach replaced once and the second is no better than the first.

Wish I had kept my 04!

Praise the Lord and pass the plate, I owe something for my guardian angel watching over me on this one. I am becoming questionable on an 09. In fact in my crystal ball I am seeing anything with a 103 in it is appreciating rapidly. ;D ;D

After contributing to the leak poll detailing my positive results (my response woke up the gremlins), I went for a ride. 52 miles into my ride the oil light came on, I know I had oil due to my pre ride check, 2 minutes later the noise. Sounds like the motor is filled with stainless steel balls, so loud you can't tell where in the motor the noise is originating. I am currently waitng for the bike to be towed into the shop.

The Motor Company agreed to the motor replacement and is sending a new motor, not remanufactured, in a week. The flywheel was twisted so severely the wrench cound not remove the cam plate.

Motor requested by Dealer of Harley 09/04/07 9:00 AM informed it will take 7 - 10 business days. Contacted by Dealership / Wrench today 09/08/07 at 10:00 AM new motor in bike, ready for pick up. Motor was sent next day air freight on 09/06/07. Between my Dealer supplying outstanding customer service and my calls to the Motor Company Executive Offices the wheels turned well for me. Let's hope this newly design engine is the answer, only time will tell.
