My take on Chief's comments is the same as Gary's. I think he was just trying to be helpful.
Sometimes it doesn't always come out that way in the written word, though.
But, blog or no blog, post on, Howie. You're part of the personality of this site and I enjoy your posts. I may not always agree with you and/or may be surprised by some of the things you post. In those instances, I may or may not choose to reply. For those times when I do and you don't like what I have to say, you "don't have to read" my replies.

Thanks for the support gang. I appreciate your candidness Brian. And no one will ever agree with what everyone says all the time. In America, at least we have the right to express ourselves. That's what makes this the greatest country in world!
It was my gut feeling that most folks get something out of these posts and want them to continue. But some can't be pleased no matter what, and only serve the purpose of being disruptive, while trying to be cute and coy about it. I don't feel Chief is like that at all. We've always gotten along well, and have had the utmost respect for him. He's an extremely bright person, who always wants to help someone. And I know he was trying to be helpful by suggesting what he did. But when I declined to join another group to start posting my experiences elsewhere, I just felt he crossed the line a little with his response to me. This was in the EVO thread on my FXWG build. And I quote:

Fine! I make a suggestion that I think would help people that are interested in keeping up with what's going on in a more compact and researchable manner and you just piss all over it. FYH!!!
And I have no problem with any part of that either, except the last three words, which were abbreviated. Make it up to mean what you want, but I knew what it meant and take exception to that alone. I would never say that to any friend of mine. I don't hold it against him. But I was still offended by it. Enough said on this issue.
Most everyone wants me to continue doing what I do here. That makes me happy, and I'll continue to provide ya'll with the same high level of entertainment ya'll have become accustomed to!

And remember folks, if you don't like the program, you can always change the channel!

Hoist!
