And to Wes, Pam and Chuck at Cycle Rama for their excellent service to me, Chaz at Axtell, Luke at Feuling, the guys at HPI and the guys at Cometic...!!!!  I could not have done this without their assistance...  a HUGE thanks to everyone...

Awesome Scott. Only too happy to help. You did a great job on your first HD motor! And the step-by-step pics are a really nice touch. Good luck with it, and I hope your days of 110 leaks are now behind you! :2vrolijk_21:

Congratulations Scott.  Wonderful to know it's running again.  The relief has to be tremendous getting back to this point.  Wonderful job.  The spring should be forewarned.  You'll rule the road when it comes :2vrolijk_21: .

Congrats Scott....looks like you've got yourself one bad-a$$ build there.  Sorry to hear that the weather is not cooperating though.  I know that's got to be really knawing at you ... you've got that sweet re-build and nowhere to go.  :(
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

THROW THAT ENGINE IN THE DUMPSTER AND GET YOURSELF A JIMS 120 OR 131.  YOU WILL SAVE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN AND YOU ARE NOT GOOING TO BE HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS IN BUILDING A 110 ESPECIALLY THE WORTHLESS HEADS AND SPENDING MONEY ON HEAD WORK.

great story!  Thanks for all the pics.  What a wonderful feeling it must have been to hear it fire right up.  Makes all the skinned knuckles worth it.  I was able to imagine the rumble.

Scott,

Awesome Job!!!!!!   Great to hear you fired her up after all the hard work you have done.. And all seems to be well ;D  I almost know how you feel about not getting to hit the road... The day mine was done from the dealer after having both cylinders, Rings, Gaskets & "O" rings replaced, it was only 25 out when I pick her up . I drove straight home (6 Miles) and it's been sitting there since Nov 26th.. I was able to get a quick ride in Christmas Day after the Family left, it was a balmy 42...LOL drove North on 251 to 173 and back to open her up... All Seems to be OK.... Now we got all this @#!& SNOW :-\   you'll have to drive her down my way so I can her RUMBLE!!! :2vrolijk_21:

This is Wes' spec on the CR595-07 cams:

Timing @.053
Intake: 20 open, 42 close, .595 valve lift, 1.625 rocker ratio, .366 net
Exhaust: 50 open, 12 close, .595 valve lift, 1.625 rocker ratio, .366 net

Intake Duration:242, Lobe Center: 101
Exhaust Duration: 242, Lobe Center: 109
Lobe Separation Angle 105, Overlap 32

I'm having him customize them slightly now and make them in gear drive for my new motor.

Hope this helps Talon! ;)
