Well I just got my SEEG, and I have to go see a Dr. for my OCD!!! I want to do something with my wheels. I'm thinking about some Renegade South Beach 21" in the front and 18" in the rear with matching rotors and pulley. I would keep it twin rotors in the front. Some say if you stick with the metzlers you dont have to modify the front fender. I dont want to modify it, so I'm skeptical about the 21's, but damn they look good! Also, anybody do a hidden antenna?
Mike, I have all that you listed above on a 04 B/B
The front is 120/70-21 M/C 52V Metzler. It has 21,000 miles on it and still looks great. Stock front fender will work, you might have to elongate the holes in the fender to allow for a little more clearance between it and the tire.
The rear is a 18x4.25" rim with a 160/60MR 18 Only getting 6100 miles out of that tire. No mods required to make this tire fit.
Problem with traveling with this setup.....No one carries these tires in stock. I have had 2 flats on the rear tire and have had to be trailered 200 miles home and the other time, I had someone bring me a tire 400 miles from home.
If you want to look good, this combo will do it for you, If you want to travel, I would tell you to stay stock.
ANTENNA...we put the Tune Trapper on the bike and it doesn't work as well as 2Lanes does. Also tried the Dakota Digital and heard that they have been redesigned since I had one.
This is just my .02 worth. After your done post some pics!!
