Guys,

I so miss you guys not being able to make MV this year. I have absolutely no energy and am having a hard time staying awake, but here goes. I checked into the hospital Sun morn with serious pain in the bowel area on the Right side in front. I initially thought it was due to not having a bowl movement for a couple days and figured it would be maybe not serious.


Well, here is what happened so far. I had  a major movement about 3:30 while on the table at the hospital waiting for tests to come back. The pain got better but still there. I had a c/t scan, x-ray various blood test, after all that a 5hr operation that got me cut from my nipples to below my belly button, they removed my appendix, and fixed/removed scare tissue and installed more mesh fixing a hernia that was caused from an operation I had back in 99.

I am waiting for one of the readings to come down. They are suspecting either something wrong with my liver or may a leak somewhere inside. I am in process of waiting another day to find out what brings next. I have to go now I'm in an awful lot of pain.

They just pulled the cathodor out and I now can eat full liquids so things are looking up and I can now think a little better. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks for the support.

Sorry to hear about all this Roy. Hang in there and get better soon. I hate doing this too, but follow the doctor's direction. They'll get you back in the saddle soon enough. Feel better man!

  Really sorry to hear you are down.  About 20 years ago, I went thru something similiar.  Went in to have my appendix removed - ended up having my appendix removed, and a chunk of intestine removed, and ended up with a blood clot near my lungs.  About a month later I finally got out of the hospital and recovered.  It was tough at the time but is now a distant memory.  Your experience will be a memory too - hopefully very soon.  Hang in there and keep your spirits up!  You have a lot of friends thinking of you and pulling for you.   :2vrolijk_21:

Roy, didn't see this before I sent you the PM today.  Man, sounds like you're dealing with a lot, but hang in there . . . little-by-little it'll get better!

What a drag to be hung up in the hospital! Sorry to hear about your pain & medical problems. Here's best wishes from Colorado.
Here's what I do when I'm laid up.... I do a transmission rebuild in my head (you can substitute something similar) ... I know it sounds nuts, but it helps pass the time and keeps the gears turning.

Hey Bro! :drink: I just got home from working out of town. I read something about you having your appendix removed and was not able to attend MV. I had mine removed a few years back as I almost waited too long before going in. Yours sounds much more serious than mine.

First, I want you to know I just lifted you up in prayer and will continue until you are well! You are a sweet brother and it was an honor to meet you in MV last year. You love to ride and sure can handle that huckleberry in the twisties! You always put a smile on my face when I see you! I'm sorry you are going through this buddy. When I was in the hospital God used that time to minister to me and give me a greater appreciation of what's truley important to me. I pray he reveils Himself to you and ministers to your needs.

Bless you my dear friend. I love you and you are loved on this site. May God continue to heal your body and give you strength. Anything I could possibly do for you just let me know. :2vrolijk_21:
