Notah,
I will have my Duracell #601 in my garage on Monday and I too am vertically challenged with a 29" inseam.
I love my '05 SEEG and it has proved to be a fabulous ride over the years... As you know, that bike came stock from the factory with a lowering kit. Actually after riding it for awhile I convinced myself that I would never own a Electra Glide again without a lowering kit as I feel so much more comfortable with both feet planted firmly on the ground and knees bent.
When I first ordered the Duracell I knew I had to add the lowering kit straight away to keep comfortable... However with the addition of the heated seat, it makes it even more important to have for me.
I choose to stay with the same Harley lowering kit as on my '05:

Once I get the bike home Monday I'm sure I feel right at home in the saddle.
Just to let you know, my wife has the same lowering kit on her '07 Ultra (purchase in August '06) and is also very comfortable riding it... She is 5' 3" weighs 110 soaking wet, and handles it fine with 4 crossings of the Rockies to date.
I'm very confident that once you put this kit on you'll love your new ride even more... If that is possible?
Take care & ride safe,
Grizzly
