KB, Here you go.  An 08 as requested. No chance they can be considered a "mistake".  Should come that way but then they can't get another $400 from you.

Now it's time for hard bags (color matched of course!).  You can't even tell it used to be a Road King Custom then!  I it better with the lights and would do it if I had the SERK too.  Great job!

I have a switch for mine (all seuc do) and I can tell you it makes almost no difference driving at night except for lighting the road up better down low.  Further than 50 feet ahead it looks no different.  What I like most about them is being more visible...

I find that they do help with night vision. They need to be aimed as the headlight is, and aimed to the high end of the low beam height as per the owners manual (which is a basic guide).

I personally believe that we (motorcycles) should be allowed to have as many lights as possible on the front of these motorcycles and bright as hell! "Oh, I didn't see him/her" would be a tougher time proving. I wish to leave these aux. lights on all of the time! If they are aimed with low beam, they are less obtrusive at high beam than two auto headlights anyhow!

BC

BTW, I installed mine without the turn signals mounted on the brackets. I like the turn signals where they are, on the bars and no lower! These wonderful folks in their automobiles need as much distraction as I can give them for my safety.

Billy

I find they light up the sides of the road enough that I can pick up the deer much easier. I know I am seen a lot sooner than a single beam. I see no down side to them unless you do not like the look. IMO.

Well, it's not a SERK, but here's a good picture of my 06' RKC with HID headlight and the custom passing lamps. Night visability is greatly improved with the passing lamps and it helps oncoming traffic see me better during the day too. The custom passing lamps look like they belong on the RK's IMO and it is worth spending the $$$.

I think they enhance the look of the bike a lot whilst making you more visible and giving you extra visibility. I didn't even consider not having them, they were fitted before I took delivery of the bike.

Thanks YOU said Custom passing lamps . Are they Harley ? Are there different lamps and bars from HD or others to consider? Thanks Billy

Now all you have to do is decide if you like the look of the new billet style or the custom style with the bar going across. :o Lucky for me I got new style on my SERK and the other on my Fatboy.  ;D

Cool I like the separate holders on the bike. Looks like you have to buy the lights and rims separate. Thanks Billy
