Luggage rack and LED light.  I REALLY like this LED light.

Ain't those lights nice? I like mine too.  That little splash of chrome looks good on the rear fender on the black bike...just enough, but not too much.

Like the black rack and sissy bar as well.

The Sundowner seat is the best seat HD makes, IMO...what's amazing to me is how inexpensive the damn thing is too!!  On the occasions when Cheri rides BSR, she will thank you many times for those two items.  You should have earned some points with that...trying to make her more comfortable and all.... ;) ;D

Ken,
Additions look nice. :2vrolijk_21: I see we went to the same school of wrenching. :nervous: ;D

Thanks Gary,

Yup, I hire most of my wrenching done. I've got lots of talent on concrete forms, sledge hammers, cutting torches and arc welders, BUT..when it comes to the tedious stuff.....A man just needs to know his limitations.

I've thinking I should do some different tailights on the bagger now. For cheri's safety of course. I rode the V a couple hundred miles over the holidays. I got on the Bagger to move it around it he garage, and my first impression...DAMN..what a big bumplesom bike! I'm thinking after earning a few more points with JD, I'll be ready for a third bike, preferably a CVO, bigger than the V--and smaller than the Dresser.

Yea, I'm thinking that's the ticket.

I like the way you think, buddy... ;)  A good compromise would be an 02 SERK... :2vrolijk_21:  How about a purple bike?

A lot of guys are happy with the Kury lights on the back.  The only thing I don't like is I'd have to take my turn signal visor trim rings off if I went with the Kury (everything has to match) and replace all that stuff with the non visor trim rings for it to match the Kury signals.   :(

Sooo, I ordered the LED array for the stock tailight from Custom Dynamics and gutted the inside of the stock tailight and installed it...brighter than the stock bulb, and no problem seeing it in the daylight.  Since I've got the strip on the TP, that's plenty extra.

Would this "purple" bike happen to already be in Kentucky??

Terry..I'm not good at drawing arrows obviously...BUT..see where it's pointing? Can that part come off now? It held up the back of the old exhaust. I see no purpose for it. See dood, my wrenching always ends up with parts left over.

All the changes look great Ken.  That exhaust looks great on that bike.  It may run like crap trying to evade a dung beetle.  But it looks sweet :2vrolijk_21: !

Trying this arrow thing again.

Ken...looks like it could come off to me.  The collector part is still supported by the bracket that has the pin through the rubber gromett, correct?  If that is supported, and you don't think the new slips weigh too much (doesn't look like they would), take it off.  Ride it some tomorrow to make sure the clamps are not going to be stressed and come let the muffs creep...if not, take it off.

That never crossed my mind, honestly.  I wouldn't buy a t-shirt from that place, but maybe you could get your dealer to work out a transfer... ;) ;D

Ken hasn't changed the air filter yet, or opened up the box, so the ECM should compensate for the small change the muffs will make.

Ken, I know you want JG to tune the bike with a PCIII, but if there's a good SERT tuner around there, it would be worth considering simply because of the O2 sensors.  The V can run a lot leaner than our other bikes since it's water cooled.

Have you noticed any kind of "stumble" at steady throttle and RPM's between 2500 and 4000?  Curious as to whether the closed loop made that common problem go away.
