TLR & Porthole --
I was just talking to some friends today about adding this piece. Could y'all be a bit more specific on the alterations you had to make? I wanted to start on Candy's SEEG, it has the stock tranny, any new tools I will need prior to attempting this?

With the stock tranny it's different than mine so best let Duane cover the details. What he'd told me generally before though was that the cover bolted on. It partially obstructed the tranny dipstick so had to be removed at time of transmission service. Also I believe he had to tweak (bend) the hydraulic line just a bit to gain room for the cover to go in and out. How much bending or greater detail will be left to Duane.
On the six speed you actually have to work the cover over quite a bit. A fair bit of metal is removed. But once it's done there is no problem with the line or blockage of the dipstick. So it can stay on forever.
