Don't forget folks, you can get the ZUMO 450 for around $450.00 (maybe less now I haven't looked) and I am pretty sure the only thing it DOES NOT have is bluetooth. A friend has one and I looked at it Friday and it was the spitting image of the 550 on all menu's and such minus the bluetooth. Just make sure when buying cheapest price on line or elsewhere you are getting both the motorcycle AND car mount with all cables.

d00d,

I see what you mean in the properties tab. The songs in question were all spelled a little differently to some degree. I have been going thru and:

1. Right click the song
2. Go to properties
3. Click on "Advanced"
4. Click on information wanting to change
5. Change information and click apply.

Works good. Then I discovered I can highlight multiple of the same artist, go into properties and it will say "multiple" under Artist, Genre etc. Make my changes, click apply and after a short wait (but MUCH faster than one at a time) it changes them all to the same. So even if I misspell something they are all misspelled the same so they stay in order!!

As Hogbreath might say....... YEE-HAW SWEETIE!! ;D

Many, many thanks to all the contributors to this thread that have supplied the info needed to spend even more money (but not gonna spend more than $750 here cuz I already have XM on the 147 function H/K radio of semi-confused gadgetry) on this Zumo to be.

When using the Zumo 550 in the car mount and paired with a mobil phone via Bluetooth can anyone recommend a mic that works well? I won't be pairing my Bluetooth headset. I'm looking for a mic that plugs into the car mount.

I just read that the car mount has a built in microphone. I didn't realize that. Maybe I'm not in the market for a microphone after all.

A'ight...Another Zumo dummy question...I have the disc "City Navigator NT" that came with the Zumo. It is installed on my PC at work. That disc is a DVD disc. my home PC doen't have a DVD player. Are there other ways to get the City Navigator installed on this PC?

d00d,

I skimmed this great thread, and am I correct is saying that I can utilize the audio XM capabilities of the Zumo through a cable into the auxilliary plug on the radio?  And it is powered by a plug into the "mystery button", also known as the cigarette lighter?

Does the ant. mount inside the fairing similar to the setup on the HD SE's?

I need to know if I can utilize XM this way as opposed to the setup that HD sells.

Yes.

The GXM-30 is actually the antenna and XM receiver. You could possible mount it there, but there is a mount that you can purchase that fits behind the Zumo mount that holds that antenna.

Yes you can and more then likely cheaper and more efficiently. With the Zumo XM you'll be able to move it to a vehicle w/your Zumo if you wanted.

The auto mount has an internal speaker that you could use, but for better quality sound you should get one of the cassette type adapters and plug into the audio out on the mount.

This made me start thinking. I don't know enough about the XM setup on our HK radios. Is it possible to use the the HK antenna and XM receiver as input to the Garmin? That would be great since I already have a subscription for that receiver.
