SERT question

What exactly comes in the sert box. User manual, software etc...? TIA

This is what I got. The interface cable to the bike (black), the special module that connects to the black cable and the CD with the program and the manual in PDF form. I think the gray cable came with it also which connects from the module to the PC. (could be I supplied that, don't remember) As I understand it,  once the module is connected to the bike it gets tied to the VIN number and can't be used on any other bike or ECM.......

The SERT's no longer come with cables.  They are a separate part number and must be ordered separately.  So you get the interface module (key) and the SERT disk that contains the Tuning Mode program, Data Mode program, Manual in PDF form (as mentioned) and a list of all the SERT Cals on the disk.

Are the Data Mode Program, Manual in PDF Form and the SERT Cals all located on the same (1) disk? Thanks

They were on my disk. Got to hand it to the MoCo marketing department, sounds like they found another way to get some more of our $$ by pulling out the cables and charging us again for them....  :-\ I did end up getting some updated calibration files from FR8TRN on this site. What was on my disk wasn't quite up to date....

They charged full price and you didn't get the most current files????  You should get 1 year of free updates. IMO

In all fairness to the Moco, you can buy an updated disk at anytime for about $15.  Now some dealers either don't know they can order it or won't order it but it is available at all the online dealers.  32117-01J is the current version.
