Established in 1999 as a response to riders' demands for exclusive factory-customs, the CVO program isn't just fulfilling motorcyclist's dreams, it's inspiring them. It all began with the FXR2, an updated version of the popular FXR. It was limited in production to just 900 units. Later in 1999, it was followed by the FXR3 (again limited to 900 units) and by the FXR4 in 2000. With each new model came unique features, paint schemes, and accessories, creating a demand that far exceeded the output of its limited production run.

In addition to the FXR4, the 2000 model year saw the introduction of something altogether new. The FLTRSEI

FXR4 said that he thought the FXR2 was the first CVO (I thought it was the Road Glide).......I learned something today, thanks to FXR4. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

In addition to HD's statements, do not forget to follow the age 'ole statement...follow the money.  Nothing wrong with that as long people are willing to pay it.

Be careful out there.

Does anyone have anything in writing that tells how many SEEG's will be produced for 05?

Any how many of each color?

The figures are projected at this time and not set in stone.

'06's?  That even sounds funny.  I'm just getting used to the '05's.....and the Yellow/Silver SEEGs haven't even all been delivered yet.  I know I got my '04 the 1st of Sept. in '03.  So I'm assuming they start building the next year's model in the summer sometime?????  Wonder if we have any members w/ access to the York Plant that could answer this?   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Well...it appears that the MOCO is cutting off production of the 95" Fat Boys in June, so I'll assume they begin their new year production around then. Sound legit?

And word is the 95" might be the standard power for the '06 models. Anyone heard the same?

The timing is about right for new models...haven't heard about the 95 being standard engine..kinda doubt it as they are selling well with the 88. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
I have heard a couple of rumors of a higher horsepower bagger..maybe water cooled?
One of their big wheels made a statement about customers wanting more power and the MOCO wanted them to be satisfied...can't remember where I read it.. so it could be possible.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Did you know that 60% of the MOCO's revenue is generated from the sale of accessories? I don't think the MOCO is going to cut off their nose dispite their faces.
just my opionion!!! [smiley=cool3.gif]
