lzyboy,

That's right. Get excited. I also share the same combination of color and excellence in American Motorcycle Manufacturing. I just took delivery 234 miles ago. Get excited. Tell everyone: There's a new SERK in town and it 's yours.

Hope to see the pictures soon.

Congrats..

These are not the best pictures due to the weather. But here you go. I need some help on how to put on my passing lamps. How well do the instructions work that came with the box, or do I need to go back to the dealer. Or can someone give me some specific guidance. I know the pictures are big. Time is precious!

Very nice bike! I had the dealer install my lamps (only to have to reroute the wires after they got pinched by the windshield frame and started blowing fuses.

This was gone into last year when we all got the 07's.  It's easy.  I covered my black wires with a nice chrome braid and ran them away from the windshield mount.  They look good.  Do you have a manual to make it easy to find the connectors in the headlight nacelle?

Congrats on the new ride!! Looks sweet.  I notice the '08 derby cover has "110" on it.  I can't tell but does it say "Screamin Eagle" underneath?  That big "110" on the cover looks nice.   :2vrolijk_21:

Here's a close up of the medallion. Raining a little when I was taken it.

JW,
Thanks for the closeup, but that's the air clearner cover right?  I was noticing the Derby cover (primary side of the bike) had 110 on it.  My derby cover just has "Screamin' Eagle 110" in script on it.  Thought it was a pretty cool looking derby cover.

Congrats on the new bike!  Nice color choice!  You are going to love this bike.  One sweet ride!  As stated before, the passing lamps are an easy install.  Just make sure to pick up all the parts you need the first time though.  The bracket kit includes the lamp housings, but no bulbs and certainly no trim rings!  The stealer is just a few minutes away, but still a hassle when you really want to get something done.  If you take your time and polish all the parts before installation, make nice clean solder connections (I hate crimps that will ultimately fail), shrink tube the solder connections and wipe all of your fingerprints off the bike after installation, it will take you about 2 hours.  Pleasure of doing it yourself, confidence it's done right and 2 more hours you get to spend with your bike!  Priceless!
