We both rolled over instead of out this morning and when I did start to let the tv news filter into my brain, I heard them say it was 11 degrees.  Oh My!  This is not a low number for when I lived in Saskatchewan, but in Virginia, this is darn cold.  We decided to don robe and slippers and just sit here sipping coffee.  Nothing needing to be done so bad that need to go out in this.   :D ;D

Man, I love federal holidays.   ;)

Keep this up and us WORKING STIFF's we will be calling you a butthead.....  ;D

I thought gobal warming would increase temperatures in all States so everyone could ride all year like the soutern States do. Well maybe next winter, until then I will wait for Bike Week and ride to Florida in March.

Glen it is all fair and equal in its own way.  While it is wonderful down South right now, in the summer when it is stinkin hot and humid, your summer is good, and our is doable.  So it is chilly now, and for some of us we depend on some electronics to cut that chill, when it is hot as hades, there is not much you can do about it but sweat.

well, JC got that cool-jacket and tried it across the desert and said he was refreshingly comfortable in it in the extreme heat.  I can't stand it on a 'fairing' bike.....blocks too much air and the larger the motor the more 'heat' coming at ya.  But right now, it's hard to worry about too much heat.  ::) har!  spyder

You are right, Thank you for the friendly Southern Warm reminder about our True Four Season weather is beautiful when the seasons colors changes.  Also I would rather wear layered or heated clothing than an A/C on my back.
For now, Stay warm anyway you can.
