I have bought from them once.  They listed several for sale of that item.  I clicked on purchase history and they had a couple left.  It took about 3 weeks to get the item (I'm in Ohio and they're in Pa)..   It's hard to talk to a person and get an answer.

The item received was as advertised.  I would buy from again but would ask more questions in advance.  I have had great success with Eastern Performance on Ebay.  Hope this helps.

Scott, I had a terrible experience with them this past December.

They were the cheapest place I'd found for the FatCats.  A good bit cheaper too.

Emailed first to verify stock.  Got a confirmation.  Placed the order and paid immediately.

Checked in a week and was told order had shipped.  Should arrive any day.

Checked in another three or four days was told the same thing.  Both times was given a line about "using too many shippers" to be able to provide a tracking number.

At the end of two weeks finally found out pipes had never shipped and they didn't have stock.  I told them to cancel the order and I'd buy elsewhere.

They said no.

Said that once the order had been placed they "couldn't" cancel it.  I got them on the phone a couple of times and they were the most arrogant folks you could ever imagine.  When I called (at their request) to ask about the status of the pipes the jackass actually had the balls to try this: "With all the problems in the world today do you really want to worry about motorcycle exhaust?"

For a normal person it would have been embarassing. For him it was script and he just didn't care.

Paypal gave me the money back in a week or so.  They still tried to hang on unpaid strike on me at eBay for having gotten a refund for parts they'd never shipped.  eBay removed that too.  But they would do nothing on their own, wouldn't cancel, and then got pissy about when I got my money back.

Don,

I knew there was someone that had a bad experience - and now that you tell the story I remember it was you.  Interestingly, I was also looking at their price of FatCats - they are offering standard baffle FatCats at $529 and quiet performance baffles at $569 - plus $30 for shipping.  Not worth tempting fate, though.  Thanks for the warning...

I didn't remember the old thread that Jim had posted.  Wish I had before I tried to order from them last month.  As it was I did what I could to verify stock and saw a big positive feedback number on eBay.  Then just spent the money.

They seem to be one of those vendors with whom it's all or nothing.  Either goes perfect or goes very very bad.  And when it goes bad they have no issue with lieing, evading and just screwing around to try and keep your money.

I'm glad I only ordered a couple of antennas from them.  No problem with the J & M's and a lot less money involved too.

When you look a bit closer, the big positive feedback rating on eBay is a bit misleading due to their volume.  They have 125 negative and 139 neutral ratings in the past twelve months.  Reviewing their negative and neutral feedback comments - there is a common theme, much like the stories related here...  There also are a large number of items that have had feedback "withdrawn based on mutual agreement of both parties", which is a bit suspect..

I guess I was lucky.  With better vendors available, I won't use them again after reading the above.

I saw that also, but only too late.  Saw the pipes at a good price, verified stock, saw the feedback number, spent the money.  Only did the rest of the due diligence after there was a problem  .
