Guys,
My cams are scored and tensioners are shot.

I know..... I am broke up about it........ Can you tell?

Now is the time to bump up the cams but I am under a 24hr decision and I would like some advise from the people that know.
From what I understand the '05 SEEG 103 comes stock with 253's. The shop is recommending 255's. I love the lope so I would like to go as far as possible without major motor mods. Another dynamic in this situation is from what I was told going bigger would require stronger valve springs. They are checking the valve guides tomorrow to determine if there is excessive wear and in need of replacement. They recommended not changing oil pumps or special back plates etc.
I ride this bike about 30k a year so "sanity" unfortunately needs to be thought about. The mods that I have done so far are SE high flow air cleaner, Sampson true duals, 2003 Big City Thunder baffles and PCIII.
Quick logical suggestions?

- Cam selection without spring upgrade
- Cam selection with stronger springs
- Any highly recommended “this and that's” while I am in the cam and valve train neighborhood?
TIA!!
