I been living in South East Asia for the last 16 years. Originally from Michigan but have a home in Austin, Texas. Been working out in Asia based out of Thailand since 1996, before that Malaysia and Singapore. Worked at least 4 months in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and India. All projects are finished now and Thailand has a new law now that only allows you to stay in Thailand 90 days in a floating 6 month window so I am getting kicked out of Thailand.
I decided to come back to the USA for the spring and summer and just found a FLHRSE4 Black Diamond/Silver to enjoy the summer. Since I been living in Hotels most of the last 16 years I figured I could live in the USA in hotels and tour the USA all summer.
Before I left in August 1992 I was riding a 1956 FLE Pan Head so a 110 ci with a small head gasket oil leak probable will not bother me if it does not stop the bike from running or cause major performance issues.
My 56 FLE had a total loss system to oil the primary chain so it left its mark everywhere it stopped. In case you don't know what a FLE is, it was a police model with a 74 ci motor and 61 ci cam. Still ran like a bat out of hell for several years before I parked it in storage. Been there for 16 years, nice basement starage with no exposure to the weather/elements. Climate controlled and all.
I'm planning on getting back to the USA sometime in Feb, pick up the bike, truck it to Texas because it is in Ohio, then start enjoying the spring and summer.
It will be a bit of a change from Asia, especially Thailand, those of you who have been here will know what I mean.
