Even though CVO bikes have a lot of custom options they are still modified and changed by us for our personal preferences.  Whether they be upgrades, chrome, or accessories.  Does anyone add up what they have put into their bikes above the purchase price or do they just keep the receipts like me and will never add them up?

I do, and I have a running spreadsheet w/the info. Sometimes sad to look at (especially don't want the wife to see ) as there are still some items I'd like to get. But hell, I'd like to hit the lottery too.

Keep them all, try to stay orginizied.  Have come in handy a few times.  Also keep detailed service log on work or service of bikes.

Oh yea, forgot to add I've kept all the receipts for additions (parts), and service. I was just thinking the other day that I should scan them to PDF files just to have electronic copies in a fire safe vault.

 Keep all receipts as I do with all me vehicles (It's the mechanic in me to keep records), but the only thing I have added up was all the warranty work done on the CUSE. Just under $12,000 so far, 22,000 miles. Do you think they will sell me an extended warranty in December? Dave

Have all reciepts and a spreadsheet. The numbers are scary Kept mostly for insurance purposes.
