Good deal.  It's cleaned up ok.  Was literally caked on to begin with.  To get it really good a bit more and probably another round of leather dressing after the coats I put in have soaked in completely.  Looked to be a decent seat though.  Put that baby to use .

No Rog.  I just couldn't make myself wait two months or more for an overpriced piece of plastic that doesn't even have a woman wrapped in it.  Instead I bought an overpriced piece of plastic that could be shipped immediately.  It's supposed to be here Wednesday.

I thought their shield for the Electra Glides looked like it had melted.  I like the shape for the Road Glide shields though.  Hopefully it'll work well.  If it likes being stroked during install I'll let you know so you can get one too .

I noticed that too.  But since the windshield doesn't have to spell or tell time I decided not to worry about it .

Thanks Brian.  The P&A manual is contradictory on fitment for that.  I like that part a lot.  Had ordered one from one of the 20% off shops.  More fitment confirmation is always a good thing .

That one tried to confuse me. I'd seen it on a bike or three and liked the look a lot.  The P&A catalog and the online lookup at Harley's website didn't agree with each other though.  One said it would fit on the old bike while the other said it would not.  Fitment for fairings and windshields crossed the make believe threshold that the trim did not though.  So I assumed it actually would and ordered one.  But with Harley you just never know...

It fits.
At least on mine and Otis's bikes.
A 5lb hammer, lug wrench, hammer drill and 24 oz. of Dawn dishwashing liquid is all that's needed.
(and for God's sake don't forget the Dawn for lubrication)
