Holy crap!!! Did ya'll know it could take hours to clean these friggin' motorcycles!!! :o :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

No wonder I never wash it! ::)

I just got done. Was out there all afternoon. Only washing and playing with the A/C. Didn't even get to Glare it yet! ???

And no pics today. It's dark now Brian. But the bike looks sweeeeeet!!! :2vrolijk_21:

I did some playing around with the Air Cleaner. I'm still getting breather oil dripping from the bottom of the A/C, between the filter and the backplate. Looking at it closely, I'm hoping that by sealing the K&N air filter element and the backplate, will prevent the oil from dripping out there and making the usual puking mess. So I tried putting a nice bead of K&N filter grease on the fliter's rubber edge. I made sure I had a good seal of grease all around the filter. Let's see if this will allow the engine to suck in all the puking oil now, instead of letting some drip out and making a mess. I'll let ya'll know how this works out. ;)

Howie, really great to hear Cybil is running great. Can't wait to see dyno.

Thanks Bob, me too. That'll probably be well after York. Right now I'm just using my old map. Bike runs good, but a little fat. Seat of the pants so far tells me it's a runner!!! :huepfenjump3:

Howie, I've actually spent two days cleaning mine, but that includes Glare.  Every now and again I go into that mode and scrub everything I can reach.......right down to using a bottle brush and Q-tips.  There's plenty of hidey holes for dirt and grime on these things.  Look at the undercarriage where the engine and transmission meet.  There's a hole there.  With the bike on the jiffy stand, look at it from the right side of the motorcycle.  Run a Q-tip in there from right to left..........................YUCK!

It's a sickness.   :(  No.......wait.   :)                                                     :huepfenlol2:

So...........that Dyna IS real clean then?  Sure looked great to me when I saw it.  Like you told me back in October........lotsa water........and after lotsa water, use more water..............and when you finish that.............go fetch another pail or three.  Can't ever rinse too much.

Hey........did you ever get that S&S A/C cover to stay on?
