Yes very sweet but it really could use a turbo I ran across a set up that puts out about 250 hp but then again you would have to invest in larger mirrors and a bigger LP

We can't be ignoring poor Cybil with all this talk of her older sister Joy! ::)

So, I don't think I can make it back up to ME this year. The bike runs well, but could be better. My mileage is definitely better, bike seems more responsive, but it doesn't seem to make the top end it used to. Almost feels 'DEtuned". I'm putting the PCIII back on next week (or therabouts), and see what I can get out of her with the PC on top of a SERT'd ECM. If I can get the decel popping back out, and get my max power back, I'll be happy with the "belt and suspenders" setup. If my PC fails, I can still ride the bike on the modified ECM. Might not get as good gas mileage, but WTF cares!!! If ya wanna play, you gotta pay!!! ;D ;)

Howie,
If I'm not mistaken, The PC will bypass the ECM/SERT program and it will run whatever program you have installed on the PC. I Loved all of my PC'ed race bikes that I had but I haven't fooled with them on my Harleys. I keep hearing of PC's failing on Harley's so that has kept me away from them. Best of luck with it though. At least with the custom tune on the ECM you will have the right backup if the PC does take a dump on you.

It doesn't bypass it Spike, it fools it. It's piggybacked on top of it and modifies the program already in the ECM. I had a PC on before the SERT was installed. The bike was a little rich, but ran great. I wasn't comfortable though having an ECM that I couldn't run my bike off of. Now that the SERT is in there, the PC must be remapped to work on top of my modified ECM, since it's parameters were changed. So it must be retuned even though there's already a custom tune for my motor in it! ;)

Thanks for the reminder Howie. It's been a few years since I have messed with a PC so now it's coming back to me.

Actually, Spike is on the right track. The PC does nothing to the ECM and doesn't even know what's going on inside. Nor does it care. It works just like a voice disguiser a radio station might use to hide caller's identity. The voice disguiser is a downstream box that is fed one signal and send out another.

The caller (ECM) speaks into the voice disguiser (Power Commander) and we (fuel injectors) hear a different voice. The caller's actual voice is not altered just like the map in the ECM is not altered.
