yeah ... i know. There is more to the story that makes me feel a bit more comfortable but in the end they do have my cashiers check and I have nothing other than their word at this point.

I spoke with the sellers wife tonight and she confirmed that they do have the original pipes and it does include a cover (not sure which cover). I knew that she would not know the carb/efi question so I just told her to have the husband call me.

according to the seller the bike has .... (drum roll please) .. Factory fuel injection. He is not sure what the vent hose is there for. I will know more next week when the bike is delivered.

I was thinking that a weekend with multiple whisky tours of Bourbon Co. Kentucky would be a great ride destination.  Are you the sole owner of barrel of 2016?  I've tried them all and keep coming back to Maker's Mark.

No there are quite a few owners.  It is due to be opened in 2016...

The Blantons, with a little horsey on top is a very, very, very, very, ( did I say very) good sippin whiskey.
Some of the smoothest 93+ proof you can sip...I like a couple of ice cubes to open it up like a good scotch maybe even a little "branch water".

I have been with Makers for years though, easy to find, the best in its price range and you don't have to feel bad if it gets mixed.

Sounds like a great ride...

Well the SERG made it here tonight. Due to wife issues I only have time to throw it in the garage and snap a few quick pics. Yes I know the garage looks like hell (remodeling the house and crap is stacked up everywhere).
