When I used them with the old top end I was in a hurry prior to a little trip and didn't route it.  Was just hoping that the upturn of the nipples would allow gravity to be enough of an assist to make the situation better.  It didn't :huepfenlol2: .

Thanks Gabe.  Clarity man; it's always appreciated.  A guy gets busy or distracted and can't see the nipples for the trees.

Will do Gabe.  Will be going after simple but effective.  Whatever ends up there will let you know.  Even if it's just not filling the oil bag so full.

I like the Simple but Effective line.  Have to remember that one.  Me likes.  Let's Roll

Depends on the AC assembly.  I have a Zippers AC and had to use the existing breather bolts which worked fine.  The kit comes with its own bolts that I assume can be used with most AC assemblies.  Check the Kuryakyn site and you can view the installation instructions before ordering.

I checked the instructions, didn't seem clear enough to tell. I am using the standard SE backing plate.

I have very little oily dirt behind the air cleaner housing and cover, so I'm guessing I really don't have something that is broke and needs fixing.

Chip, without speaking for Puzzled I have no doubt he'd make the part right as it was purchased not terribly long ago.  The difficulty there would be retrieval.  I'm just not real sure how far I threw it.
You will find it with the lawn mower, and then you will really be PO'd.

If you are using an SE backing plate, the HD breather bolts allows oil to vent into your intake so you are burning any oil coming from the heads.

So a minor "oil" problem wouldn't even bee seen, like a PVC system on a car.
That might explain why my heads looked like they did when I bent a valve at 10,000 miles.

That's correct Duane.  With the backplate that connects to the breather holes in the heads any vented fumes/gasses/oil goes right back in the intake charge.

So, whose backing plate should I be looking at then? And it may as well be chrome to help out with the LED's I put on last week.
