It is a little disconcerting though, that we, the members of this site are more informed as to what the MoCo is doing. I had the service manager tell me that he hears more stuff on what the MoCo is doing from customers like me then he does from the factory. That's just, in my opinion, a piss-poor way of taking care of your dealerships. Unfortunately, it's not the MoCo that gets jumped on for the dealer's lack of current information, it's the dealer. We right away assume that they haven't got their chit together because they don't know what we're talking about. For instance, I told the service manager when I talked him about the leak that I wanted them to check the rocker boxes after they tear the top off of the jugs to make sure I have no clearance issues. I said you know about the clearance issues on the 110's right? He said we haven't received anything from the MoCo about it. It's that lack of concern for their dealerships that really pisses me off about the MoCo. I don't blame my dealership for their lack of knowledge on the gaskets. When I called customer support to open a ticket on my bike, (thanks to the excellent information received on this forum

), I told her I hear that I had to open one to get the new gaskets for my engine. She just non-chalantly said, that's right sir. There was no surprise, denial, or whatever in her voice...they are programmed for these issues at the factory, but they're not informing the dealership that there's a problem, so the dealers give you the

when you explain to them that something is a known issue to the MoCo. Sorry, for the rant guys, but the MoCo really pushed the wrong button with me today when I had to get a ticket number before the dealership could order the new gaskets for my bike...that is just plain wrong.
