I got 9000 on since the last repair. The bike is under factory warranty until October. But I don't think they can fix it. Probably never will be able to.
If you can verify the gasket part number, you'll probably find out that gasket 16801-07A was used. This is the gasket that came out about this time last year. Shortly after the first of the year, HD Tech Services started mailing an experimental composit gasket directly to dealers for this repair. HD Net now has the -07A as obsolete and -07B is the new number.
So far, (all disclaimers apply) I haven't heard of anyone with the newly numbered -07B gasket continuing to have a problem although they haven't been in use for more than a few months.
If you got the -07A the last time it was fixed, you might want to give the -07B a shot. You're putting enough miles on quickly enough that you would make a good test candidate for the rest of us waiting to see if this is as good of a fix as we're hoping for.
