You may want to burn copies of those CD's to carry w/you at all times. Better to loose damage a copy then the original.

it does not inspire a lot of confidence when the compass is wrong 80% of the time...the darn thing tried and succeeded in getting me lost in georgia, but the usual method of asking somebody did work.

How do you get up to date nav disc information?

Well, I thought I was all set...
Went up into Wisconsin yesterday, and when i tried to use NAV for the route home it wanted the flippin CD again!
Does this not save any info or what?

It saves nothing but the current route.  Once completed it's gone.  So to repeat or reverse the previous route, or start over in the same area doesn't matter.  You will insert disk.  Resistance is futile.

i carry all discs and the instruction book with me all the time.better safe than sorry.
