I stand up on the pegs and fart boisterously and with a welcoming report.

I thought that it was your bike pinging last year in Arkansas that made that noise!   :'(

Remind me to NOT follow you this year.

Thank god the engine runs great now.  Now if I just had a transmission.  And I never allow riders in a trail position after beans for lunch...

Dang,  My neck hurts from snapping right and left as this thread switches topics.   ;D

So here's my take on everything:

D00d, I hate to pi$$ you off since you never know when I might need your wisdom.

BUT... It's just too dang entertaining to pass up.  Put me down for $2 for the hinges.  And I volunteer to do the install when I go down to Dumphries VA for the stupid ride with us stamp that I do every year.  My wife and I installed them on my bike in less then an hour without a scratch.

I wave to all but scooters.  Sorry... they're not motorcycles, they're mopeds without pedals.

I've noticed that when I started wearing a helmet and nylon gear instead of a do-rag and leather in my no helmet law state, less "real" bikers wave to me... Which is interesting since I don't see any of those "real" bikers who aren't waving in January and February here in PA when I'm riding in 10 degree weather.

And hey, no one's used this thread to complain about leaking 110s yet!  What's going on hear guys?  I'm at 10000 on my '08 and no leaks yet. :jack:

Ride Safe,

Depends.  If I'm on the clutch, like at a red light, then I acknowledge a wave with a head nod.  Usually don't wave in the twisties, but most of the time I wave.

I wave harder at scooters.  We all learned on training wheels at one time or another.

Sometimes wave, sometimes nod - not much though - too busy looking at the road most of the time.

After a lot of riding I find myself waving at bikes from my car when I'm not paying attention...

I do that too without thinking sometimes when I'm in my truck and usually, not always, get a strange look from the guy on the scoot, like why is this dude in a cage waving at me?   :confused5:
