the first CVO tour we got in york in 05. the guide asked if we knew what the first CVO bike was i said 1999 FXR2 he said i was right. so 1999 seems to be the officail party line from the MOCO its also the first listed in the CVO history section h-d.com

AJ, The Black/Orange/White model 00 SERG was released first

Sorry if I'm being a dick, but the discussion seems to be wanting veracity and that's what I'm trying to get at.

BB, I didn't want to copy another member's picture that's why I posted the R/R/R. Here is GoldWing's. Whether or not is was the first Screamin Eagle (not arguing when the first CVO was) it is the one I fell in love with and brought my attention the the CVO & Screamin Eagle line.

That's something we share in common AJ.  Was the red ones for me though.  Remember seeing them way back then.  Don't remember knowing a thing about CVO production or even hearing the term.  Just loved that bike.  But never could find one.

The immediate lust faded but the interest never did.  Always kept an eye out.  Then, well... we all know what I dragged home two or three months ago.

After seeing it the first time I was "wow". Then I saw a picture of Otis' with that checkered front fender... double "wow". Now take an '00 O/B/O and add that checkered front fender...
I've got to find that cash cow hiding out back.

Remember seeing Otis (the bike) when that had first been done also.  Really striking on that color set especially.  On an O/B would you do the checkered flag in orange and white or black and white?  In the picture in my head right now I think and orange and white checkered flag pattern would look amazing.  Fortunately there's no similar combo that I think would be good from the red ones.  So at least I'm safe on this one.

I saw a pic on the V-Twin forum, not sure if it will work, but I'll give it a try...

After all these years that would be a nice change for him.

He seems to give legs to controversial models...FXR, FLT, V-Rod.  He did resurrect the FXR and FLT orphans and I have to admit all these bikes are love or hate amongst the faithful and never very popular until discovered by the aftermarket bunch. I still think my old Evo 94 FXR was the best bike I've owned so far, but once you go bagger ya can't go back. Doc

Roger,
This is so easy to solve it's hardly worth the effort for me to type it.

Sell the Dyna, buy the new 09 SERG and change your handle to " Baggerman"
