Roger,
This is so easy to solve it's hardly worth the effort for me to type it.
Sell the Dyna, buy the new 09 SERG and change your handle to " Baggerman"
B B

or hell..you can just give me the dyna ;-)

I can't sell the Dyna cause I know live next to a guy with three bar bikes, have to keep up with the Joneses (not really) and as much as I would like to help Scot out, well........................

Besides, I can always buy more garage space and be like Chip.

If you want a Cayenne Turbo I'll ship one to anywhere you like, along with the payment bookk a month later ::)

So, where is our first GTG for the SERG's???

I'd rather have that nice 911 you had on the floor when we visited last summer...you know the one that was more race car than grocery getter that the Cayenne is...

This is more than rumor but less than an absolute certainty.  I have a friend that is the sales mgr of a HD dealership.  (1) In the course of placing an order the MOCO goofed and acknowledged the FLTRSE3.  Don't know if the acknowledgment information was an error or just the act of sending it before  the new models are announced at the dealer show in Las Vegas this July.   Appear the colors will be yellow/black and black/orange.

If so, the first Orange bike should be numbered 2 as Brian has been riding the prototype Screaming Eagle Roadglide  for quite some time.

If I hear more from other sources one way or the other, i will update.

How does the MOCO goof in placing an order? Where is the proof of the goof? Is there something in writing?
How do you acknowledge a FLTRSE(3) when 1 and 2 haven't been produced in 8 years?
I think there are some guys sitting back saying, "Watch this, I will get everyone going! Everyone wants a SERG for 09, lets give them one."

Why does the above quote include "less than absolute certainty"? If the MOCO acknowledge's it then it's certain. If they didn't then it's just another person speculating.

The truth is in the original post, don't read into it more than what's there.

We've gotten better info in the past from Don's nephew that mows Willie G's grass.

If something is less than certain then it's just another guess.

Makes that Servi-Car seem that much more believeable!

Remember seeing Otis (the bike) when that had first been done also.  Really striking on that color set especially.  On an O/B would you do the checkered flag in orange and white or black and white?  In the picture in my head right now I think and orange and white checkered flag pattern would look amazing.  Fortunately there's no similar combo that I think would be good from the red ones.  So at least I'm safe on this one.

2LN, I hadn't even thought about doing it in an orange & white. I would be a little more subtle and I'm not sure that's what that bike needs. It needs to stand out!
I've actually thought about just buying the front fender and painting it without owning the bike yet.

It's always an enjoyable spectator sport watching the rumors and guess fly each year.  One thing Harley does pretty well is keep information on a close hold when they want to.

Might the screw up and let something slip?  Sure.  But I'm always going to doubt it until we actually see the bikes.

Having said that someone had a part in hand earlier that was a new release.  The fitment description on the new part included a fourth SEUC.  That's the most probative thing I've ever seen escape suggesting what a new model might be.  In the mean time; I'm still relying on on Willie G's sister's neighbor's cousin's (twice removed) friend who knows the dog walker of the guy down the street that is the illegal immigrant pool boy of the other one.  He's never led me wrong yet.

On Otis it is kind of subtle though.  Remember the first time I saw it doing a double take and having to make sure they weren't all that way.  It just looked like it belonged there.  I think that on a pumkin SERG the orange and white would do the same thing.  Still glad there is no white in the red ones though.  So I don't have to even think about it :bananarock: .

I saw a pic on the V-Twin forum, not sure if it will work, but I'll give it a try...
