Haven't read the book, but all indications are that it only confirms what many of us had figured out a long time ago.  He came to office with an agenda, and when the facts didn't support his agenda he had some new "facts" fabricated.  He and his advisor's were so arrogant they didn't even bother to make sure lie #3 didn't nullify lie #5.  When you don't care what the citizens think, it isn't necessary to take the time to make all the lies believeable.

When he leaves office, the wealthiest Americans will be much wealthier, the poor and the middle class will be poorer, our overall economy will be in the dumper, the rest of the world will hate us even more than before, and we will continue to be entrenched in another war that we have neither the resources nor the political will to win.  His one accomplishment, IMHO, will be his top 5 rating among the all time worst presidents in our history.  And the sad part is, he is stupid enough to be proud of that.

    I told all of my conservative friends 8 years ago that this guy was not the man they were looking for and they should not support him. Find someone else I said. Look at John McCain. But all their pastors said they should mobilize for Bush so like sheep they did. Bus loads and busloads of decent God fearing Americans showing up to vote for the man they thought would deliver us from evil. The bible talks about false idols and GWB is just that. And idoltry is how he got his way instead of being tossed after a single term.
      I also said that I would take no pleasure in saying I told you so when it was all over and believe me I don't. Everything I feared has come to pass with GWB and things I couldn't even envision. Jerry he is not among the top 5, he is the #1 worst ever. And as you say, the saddest part is he doesn't even realize the treasons he's commited against his country and all of us.  He swore an oath to Preserve and Protect the Constitution of the United States of America and he and his henchmen have violated it in every way possible. If the US Constitution were a woman, they'd all be guilty of rape, sodomy and a 100 other vile crimes. And you know the biggest crime he commited in my book. He compares himself to a truly great man - - - Ronald Reagan. That is the worst crime of all.

and just think; we coulda had GORE in 2000 and or KERRY in 2004; instead we got good ole GWB...Gee; haven't our choices been great? DAMN!!! This is a dangerous thread for some of use who are not die-hard right wingers , BUT that book doesn't say anything we all didn't know already if we were willing to be Honest . We have been sold down the river by this administration just look at the profit statements put out by the oil companies.

Hey, I voted for GWB twice :-[yes :-[I'm pissed off about a number of issues ole GWB has sold us down the river on. But he STILL has my total support on what he is trying to do in Iraq. Anyway, If someone has something to say weather right, left, or down the middle then go ahead and say it as far as I'm concerned. I'm as far right as most on many issues, but can lean a little left of center on a couple of issues...either way we live in America; freedom of speech is one of the issues our men and women served and died for...So go head on Bro and speak your mind

I totally and wholeheartedly support our men and women in the armed forces , they are doing there jobs as set forth by a group of people who care not what happens to them . When they send there children to war then maybe they will have a better mind set. I don't much care for our choices on either side but it has been that way for years we try to pick the lessor of several evils. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Glad I vote the other way at least I know what my candidate stands for and what he supports.

      I'm going to ask that you put aside all of the liberal bashing crap that was put out there by the RNC in 2000 and 2004 and ask yourself if you believe that Gore and Kerry were truly not smarter, more experienced and more able than GWB. Leave the personality crap out of it and what do you think ? I said in 2000 when everyone was saying Gore was a stiff and how they'd rather have a beer with Bush that I wasn't voting for best beer buddy, I was voting for President and based on that I voted for Gore and for Kerry. Sorry, I'm a fairly intelligent individual and I have this thing about voting for people I think have room temperature IQ's. GWB is a good ole boy no doubt about it. As pointed out on another post, he still doesn't get just how badly he's effed everything up. Good ole boys usually don't.

    OK, in this case, Obama is no doubt a smart man, but so is John McCain and he has 100 times the experience. Do I think he has answers to our problems. No, not really, not at this point BUT, if the past is any guide, he will work with both sides of the aisle to work things out. He's proven time and again that he is a deal broker. That he can get things done. Right now that seems like our best bet.
