This topic made me think, and the first thing that came to mind is I'm a "parts hoarder" like Chip :nervous: :huepfenjump3:

I still have all the take off parts from my :pumpkin:, some from my previous bike (Fatboy), and even a couple pieces from my ole rice burner.

Maybe one day I'll have enough to build a bike. :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2:

Hmmm, all I need is a frame, tranny, and a few motor parts and it's a done deal. ;D

Since it's a 100th Anniversary model, I'd say keep the parts if you can afford the space and or moving them around.
Lots of changes to mine, but if pressed I could restore it to 'original' as needed. Hard to judge how much more it would be worth Vs with the mods, but cheaper than trying to find the right parts years down the road. IMHO.

yeah, I am getting that feeling, and you are pushing me to the sell it and finance MORE upgrades...
What, site members encouraging others to spend their money on upgrades???? :nixweiss: Shocking to hear.

Your really shouldn't be posting on this thread or you run the risk of finding; what do they call themselves ?  Oh yes, Hoarders in your garage.

I've kept everything I have taken off my 03 SERK. E-bay is tempting but I just can't bare to part with the stuff. It just wouldn't feel right. But I also have kept my grown kids baby teeth too.   :bananarock:
