Hey Jim, on the way back from Lake George last week got fuel on the I 90 @ the Clarence Centre exit. That must have been close to your exit I would imagine. THE MUFFMAN

It's walking distance.  My daughter works there.

I'm telling you guys, it seems like the CVOHarley riders are avoiding the Jester Whisperer like the plague when in town.

I'd like to ride up soon to get a lesson on LED lighting for SE shift linkage!  What town are you in?

Just outside Kitchener. I don't mind going for a ride pointing towards Fort Erie either. My brother in law wants to get real fancy and make up a circuit board for the leds. But then again , that is one guy who has way too  much time on his hands. If I goe the back way to Fort Erie I'm about 2 hours away. THE MUFFMAN

95 when we stopped at Sodus Point.

Was 98 when we stopped for lunch at some hamburger joint somewhere off 101 east of Rochester.

It was so hot standing on the blacktop that it was go inside or move! And it wasn't much cooler inside.
MapSource says I left customs at Niagara Falls at 6:43 pm

Damn!  I'm as good of a guide as you'll ever get in western NY.  Your route looks like it went up I-390 to Mt. Morris or Geneseo.  If you came into the Buffalo NY area from Corning that route would put you within 3 miles or so of me.  Tonawanda is 25 miles away.

We hugged the coast, all the way down from Kingston, except to go to another HD dealer that was closed!
We even found a dealer that was closed on Wednesday's, guess which day we were there?

Duane, you still haven't stated what days you passed through.  Where did you stop for the night?

Muffman, I didn't realize you were the other side of Hamilton.  Hamilton is just over an hour and a half (taking into account the Canadian metric conversion).  By the looks of the map, Grimsby appears to be half way.  Any interesting riding in that area that you are aware of?  There might be an interesting place on the water to meet for lunch.

Let me pull out the map. Grimsby is about 1/2 way. I'll check tonight when I get home  to find an interesting meeting place.THE MUFFMAN

yeah how 'bout that!

Sunday night is Sackets Harbor - where they were out of seafood  :nixweiss:
Monday night in Colden at the Colden Country Inn, look for a report on that later  :2vrolijk_21: And that was after being turned down at several hotels with empty parking lots.

Tuesday night in Kane PA

Wednesday night ion my bed

You have to remember, we really didn't have an itinerary, just looking at a map and saying this looks good etc. Turns out we were fairly close to you and Howie and Rocky. And had we had another day we were actually planning o going over to the Erie area to see Brad and Val.

There is a problem with the best laid plans when you don't have one

How in the world did you find Colden?  I grew up about 10 miles from there.  It's not near ANYTHING!
