New Fix From MOCO..... When????
« on: June 11, 2008, 11:30:55 AM »

I remember several people here saying, just wait, the answer is coming in the form of a few parts from the MOCO.

What is the status on the fix and parts?

Just wondering.

Dan,

We're all just sitting back and waiting. Haven't seen anything yet.

Last week I spoke with some friends that went to the HOG Officer's training in Las Vegas. They had a separate room set up just to discuss the CVO issues. I guess the MOCO folks made the statement to the effect that the 110" motor was one of the biggest mistakes the company has ever made. They did not offer any upcoming solutions that I know of but it was discussed and acknowledged. I should get my 07 back this week with the new aftermarket cylinders and pistons. Ashame I had to pay for it.

Why would the HOG officers be discussing a CVO issue problem?

Maybe because they own/ride them. :nixweiss:

Oh Yoda Master...is the first question, why do they need to be trained?  What are they learning?   :nixweiss:

Several times a year in different places H.O.G. has Primary Officer Training (POT) for local chapter officers (Director, Asst. Director, etc.). Never been to one but it is my understanding it's training on how to run their local chapters and how to be proficient in the particular role (Director, Asst. Director, etc). Also keeping them informed of other issues involved w/running chapters.

Wouldn't surprise me since these members of H.O.G. do ride that issues like this would come up in discussion. Wouldn't' think it would be any different then how we discuss it here. :nixweiss:
