Chuck,

Found out my service manager did the cylinders on warranty in part since they were stained, in part because they had slipped.  Yours are stained most likely - should get new ones.  Would press for that if it were me.

Time to squirt some oil and burn it on with a propane torch eh?

Just yankin' your chain a little Chuck.  Well mine sure as heck turned yellow (rear cyl) as I ran bone stock for over 10k.  Long before that on the original motor I switched 'em out.  OK if not yellow but the damn thinkg looked like chit.

I knew you were. I like the black ones better, just don't go to the dealer very often and when I'm there, I never think of them.

Yours doesn't have burn on oil yet?  After all these months?    :nixweiss:

If you need a torch might try this:

These were recalled recently, so figure they must have worked too damn good.

None. My 'weep' comes out the bottom onto the top of the case. Nothing coming out at the top. Maybe that burnt oil would look suspicious after all.

Hmmmmmm......... dunno.  Considering these 110's run hotter than the average air cooled motor (on the surface of the sun)  might still be believable?   :nixweiss:
