Been looking these pics over and over and I hate to say it, but I can only reach one concluson. When you look at the various perspectives of them you'd have to be blind not to notice that Don is really a SEEG guy at heart. Or perhaps  he hasn't sat with a bottle of Maker's and stared at the SERG long enough yet to know where to take the best shots.

Just my $0.02 - - - - whether you want it or not  :P

B B

Not sure Brian.  They got moved around so each was in front (I've learned not to piss off one or the other--the consequences suck when you do).  Might just be part of my editing choices.  When wading through the 90 or so images they got narrowed down rather quickly.

Truth be told even since the red bike got put back together I've still be riding the SERG a bit more.  Have been pleasantly surprised to find that the heat problems you warned me of just are not an issue with the lowers off and with the Fatcats and a good tune.  I can ride the bike in shorts on a 90 degree day and not bake the leg.  This Road Glide is just a very fine bike.

Fortunately the character of the two bikes are not identical.  You definitely know and notice significant differences hopping from one to the other.  That's a good thing too.   But I certainly am enjoying having them both here.

Just enjoy tempting you!

Don,
Looking good Bro thanks for sharing. :2vrolijk_21: I really think you need to add the Red SERK, and Switchblade to the collection. You could then start CVOHarley Fly & Ride. ;D

Gary, I think we know there aren't a lot of guys here I wouldn't let just hop on and take off with one of the bikes.  Fly and Ride any of those beautiful red CVOs open to the masses though?  Man, not even with 103's bikes. :o

Don
Well maybe you need to buy a bottle of Makers like I said, park your butt about 15 feet from the bike on a shop stool with casters and roll around getting a feel for the best perspective to shoot pics of TR from.  :drink: (like you need an excuse)
What I said on the heat issue was that with the non vented lowers, there was no way you could keep them on in warm weather as what little air got past the lowers channeled all the heat onto your leg. Removing the lowers does indeed fix the problem

Don-

You have 2 bikes and a trailer that anyone would be proud to own.  The red seat even looks good in the natural lighting outside and the natural tone seat on the SEEG is a nice contrast to all the red on that bike.    :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Bob.  The SERG seat grows on me more every time I see it.  And it feels just perfect.  All the positions and reaches are ideal for me.  The SEEG is what it is; a doll to begin with.  The seats are another area where the bikes each get to stand out but with entirely different characters.

First off he has to persuade himself into really not wanting them, and we both know that'll never happen. ;)

Don, those are two suwheet rides....I only have one question, when does the SERG get the matching powder-coated engine??  :nixweiss:

It runs so well I honestly hate to mess with it.  Over the winter I'll likely change cams to be rid of the questions that come with the tensioners.  Barring some unexpected failure don't expect to do anything else though.

With anything like that there will always be "requirements". Just have to remind everyone to read the fine print. ;)

Scott, you think he's cute standing out in the yard in his magic hat and thing twitching his nose to magically make bike parts appear?
