While I waited 2 months past the initial ship date for mine to come last fall, there was no word from the MOCO in the duration.  Then a VIN number appeared on the dealer's computer, and the bike was there the next week.

They do build the CVO's in shifts, all one color, then all another color and so on.  The way HD ships the bikes by gathering them all in a central location, I question whether or not it is already built sitting in the warehouse in York waiting for a slot on a load coming your way.

Hope you don't have to wait too long.  Make sure the dealer has conveyed to the MOCO that the bike is sold -- not just part of their stock allotment.  You might not see it at all if that's the case with the way things are going with sales.

I have not seen any black diamond / silver dust on a show room floor since early spring. I have seen several Anny SERKs. Didn't someone on this site just pick up his Anny and was selling a Black Diamond?

I think he traded his black/silver in on the Anny, if I remember correctly. :nixweiss:

I got mine!   :orange:  :drink:

Dealer called on Friday, said I could come n get it!

Girlfriend and I drove the cage 240 miles and I drove it home on Sunday.

It was Awesome . . . with the exception of the sound of the stock exhaust  . . . .  :confused5:

A "Harley" is just not supposed to sound like this . . . .  :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

I already have RTD's, Stage 1 A/C, and SERT, ready to install, but the "new" A/C cover is backorderd 'till the end of July.

Here is a picture of it sitting next to my '07 Street Bob in the garage.  I'll post better pics when I get it washed up and out in the sun.   :2vrolijk_21:

Man guess i lucked out when i bought mine, iI think i called every dealer in the southeast looking for a razor red, They all said i would have to order one, this went on about a month, walked into one of the smallest dealer around (never thought they would have a CVO) They were rolling it into the show room, told the salesman to just keep rolling it outside and i would ride it home.
