We're loading a coulpa bikes Bean just tuned. He does the tuning for LA Harley in Lewiston! We'll get ready to start in a few! ;)

Bean started with a canned map for a 110 CVO w/50mm SE TB, 211 cams, and 2:1 exhaust and modified it slightly for safety sake of my motor. Now he's going in 250 RPM increments to start making adjustments from 1500 RPM up. He tunes for efficiency not AFR.

Extremely interesting process. Loads of info on this thing. A little over my head but starting to get the hang of it. ;)

Had this playing in the background while doing other things.  Just heard them say "new oil pump."  What's going on? 

Ok, listened more, sounds like they're talking to someone on the phone.  Was worried that something had happened with Cybil.

He's taking some calls. Not my OP. But he saw some bad pinging as he started. Now he's going to look at where, and make some timing changes. Nothing wrong with her, just part of the process I guess. He's very thorough. This will be a lenghthy process getting it perfect! But that's what he intends to do. Will probably go into tomorrow. Was at the Super 8 last night, but all the hotels here are booked solid for some kinda soccer tournament. I'm crashing on Bean's couch tonight. ;)

He constanly monitors engine and rear tire temps. Doesn't want to heat up the rear tire too much. Been stying around 145-150 at these RPM's and loads. Engine temp hasn't exceeded 220deg and oil temp's running around 195.

Just finishing up the recording process now at 3 grand. Then we'll shut it down and printout the data. He'll evaluate the readings and make an educated guess as to what changes to VE for each cylinder he'll need to make, change the map, and try again. It seems like a very lengthy trial and error process since you can't make any changes live. Cybil's handling this like a champ so far! ;)

Chit Ken.  Looks like when you get your new TB you're going to have to be a Mainiac for a short while.  Can't let Hoist beat ya and you know he'll say that your dyno numbers aren't true unless you use the same one he did.
